The National PTA has developed a Parents Guide to Student Success with the Common Core standards. Scotland County Schools are transitioning to Common Core during the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years. The link below will take you directly to the PTA Parent Guide site. This resource is divided by grades and includes information on what your child can expect to learn at each specific grade level, activities that can be done at home, and tips on how to build stronger relationships with teachers. Teachers and staff at Carver Middle School are excited about the opportunity to work with our students as we begin a new era in learning. The Parent Guide can be found at http://www.pta.org/4446.htm.
